![]() We were unfortunately on bikes so double IPAs / Imperial Stouts were out. The Mason Pale was a pretty average Pale and the Marzen just wasn’t great. It was hot, so this may have prejudiced the taste buds, but the Summer Session Ale was top notch. A solid variety with 7 flagships and 4 seasonal releases. There were 11 beers on tap with a few on deck. Sadly the don’t have beer here, but if you’re still up for it, they have boozy floats with beer in them. If you’ve got the kids in tow, just outside the main area is an ice cream bus. There is also cornhole and other games to keep you occupied. If you’re still hungry, now is the time to hit the BBQ and another beer. We went on “DecadeFest” weekend and saw a band playing 90’s jams. A look at the event calendar appears to show themed weekends and bands all summer long. Since you’re now a couple of beers deep, you can head closer to the stage and catch the concert up close. They have heaters above the tables for the winter as well. Have another beer here and enjoy the people watching. It’s a little quieter, you can still hear the music, but also have a conversation. The best place to hang out is outdoors next to the restaurant and away from the stage. Seriously, what kind of brewery has a LIBRARY? Quiet Time in the Library If you’re not feeling the crowd, you can actually sneak upstairs above the main area and sit in the library. The wings were BOMB and the pizza was 100 or whatever the cool kids say these days. ![]() Once you’re ready to order food, you can do so at the bar or directly from a walk up, self-service ordering area. Grab a beer and a menu from the bar (there is no table service). Head past the BBQ and grab a table in the concert area if there is a band or inside 2 Silos if not. It smells delicious and they have all of the 2 Silos beers ready to go. Beer All the beersĪfter you get through the parking lot, you’ll see an outdoor barbecue pit restaurant. The best part (and most dangerous…): you put your credit card down at one bar and it transfers anywhere else on the campus. All are connected, and you can easily move between the restaurant, outdoor bars, outdoor restaurant, concert stage, and more. Farm Brew LIVE was smart to divide up the property into different areas both outdoors and indoors. But despite its immense area, it did not feel overwhelming or too big. Several hundred people were on site on the Sunday afternoon we visited. There is parking for hundreds, maybe even thousands here. When you pull up to the brewery, you’ll quickly notice its vast size. And a campus is just what this feels like. Located on 8 acres in Manassas, Virginia, 2 Silos is actually one piece of a much larger complex called Farm Brew LIVE, which pitches itself as Northern Virginia’s first destination brewery campus. There is so much to unpack here, so let’s start from the beginning and walk through this giant brewery and event space. If you live in the DC Metro area or anywhere close, you need to get to 2 Silos Brewing.Ģ Silos is exactly what a destination brewery can and should be.
